Hi ladies and gentlemen!
Have a question for you all; hope you don't mind me asking.
Just purchased the Epic 4G and I'm wondering whether or not I can unlock it to use it on another carrier's network because sprint's plans are god-awful.
Now I know that sprint is CDMA, iDEN, and UMTS.
Also, that Verizon more than likely has not added MEID to their database which I read on another forum post via androidforums (yes, i searched before contributing to spam)
My question is: Is there anyone out there that has unlocked this phone in particular for another service? Or does anyone know of a way to unlock it for any other service besides Sprint?

On another site I found a guide on unlocking the VZW EPIC 4g for straight talk and boost mobile. Detailed tutorial. There has to be a way! Didn't want to create a user name there just to ask whether the sprint could be flashed also.
