Help Question Should i flash with a newer ROM?

I've Galaxy tab 2 10.1 P5113 and the installed Android version is 4.1.1
When in CLASH OF CLANS i want to sign in to my Google account it says:
 
You could try installing gapps manually or go to sammobile download tbe latest version for your device (check nk. cos mines gt p5110 but ill guess yrs is 3g) and getcorrect odin and install new O/S (plenty of instructions on google)., or install cyanagenmod cm10 its better than the samsung O/S again lots of instructions about..

You may need to install gapps with cm10 i cant remember now..

does it clean CoC data files if i flash with gapps or cm10?
mine is wifi model, a samsung staff told me that in chat.
i've already download P5113UEUCMK3 but i haven't flashed using it yet.
