Question: Visual Impaired Applications??

Hi,
I'm visually impaired and also an advocate for visually impaired individuals. There are many of us who have just made the switch to an Android phone and we would like to know if any of you know of any applications that are made specifically for the visually impaired.. One of the most common questions I'm asked is 'Is there a Currency Reader??' I know that there's one for iOS.. but.. Is there one for Android?

Didn't realize this is an eight month old thread, but here are some findings in case anybody can use them:

Accessibility apps in Android Market
Google TalkBack
Google SoundBack
Google KickBack

and oddly enough, the widely used Google Goggles had no trouble when I used it to identify a $20 bill.
