Lurker
Hey guys. Its my first time posting and all and I'm really new to the android scene seeing as how I just got my first android device couple days ago. It really facinates me and I would love to know all I can. I've been reading the forms a lot and seeing a lot of new words that I have no clue about so if somebody can explain the meanings of the "android lingo" id really appreciate it. And idk if any of this is posted but an explination starting basic to advanced. I'm trying to learn as much as possible because I am trying to test phones and a friend of mine just told me to know everything about your phone and the OS. I'm using the optimus s from sprint as my first android. Thanks in advance :)

The best thing to do is just to keep reading on here. Keep looking at popular threads, especially in the sub forum for your phone.

What exactly do you need help understanding?

This forum is great for finding out about issues, solutions, etc.

Don't forget Google is a great resource for finding other resources. I just did a Google search for Android 101 and found this starters article for android users: Android 101: A Guide to Using Your Android Phone - PCWorld

Just the basics, but it's a good place to get started.

And never be afraid to ask questions here in the forums. We were all noobs at one time. And with the ever changing technological environment, it seems like I become a noob, over and over.
