Root Questions about cm 10

OK so I've been outta the whole cm loop with our phone. As of right now I'm using bobz 5/21 with a couple fixes. I flashed modem c and the modified buildprop zip. Right now I still have low call volume, GPS and MMS not working entirely, and front facing camera/ 1080 recording not working. I'm sure there's something I'm forgetting. Anyways my question is what can I do to be up to date. Id like to be on the same page as everyone else without bricking my phone. What fixes and/or ports should I flash? Do I have to be on a certain firmware or anything? I saw something before I left about and updated recovery? Any help would be appreciated. Would help me from going through a couple months of threads I've missed.

Johnny's liquid smooth port works nicely. It has most, if not, all the fixes..

how do I get google maps back? or is it sposed to be there?

nvm looks like its installing a bunch of apps, including gmaps

All I know is I had a lot of trouble getting it to work properly, and finally did do a fresh install, only for the same problem to persist. Did a NEW fresh F firmware and flashed CM10,Gapps, and did not flash the GPS fix, and everything was working finally.
