So IV been looking around and I'm still confused with what this is. Is it just 2.3.3 for optimus c? So the phone will look different?? And how do I do this and is it safe? I'm computer savy but not android is savy just yet

Obviously your neither or you would have at least searched the forum or Google for that matter about it. You strike me as one of those people who bitches for new updates and help without even trying to understand it. Cyanogenmod is so much more than gingerbread. I advise you not to do it because if you cannot follow simple guidelines or look up cyanogenmod or even post this in FAQ section.your likely to break your device.
