Root Questions about Dumpstate files? What are they?

After many flashes of different ROMs, Themes, Kernels, etc, I noticed that I have about 20 or more log files called "dumpstate_app_....................log" that have accumulated on my SD card.

For example, "dumpstate_app_201103011317_luncherPro_anr.log" or "dumpstate_app_201103030712_android_process_acore_anr.log"

I'm thinking that they may be error logs. I'm wondering exactly what they are, and if it is safe to delete them off my SD card.

Yes thats what they are and yes you can delete them. I wish they went someplace other that the root directory though.

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure so I didn't F anything up.

Yeah, that would be nice if they went somewhere else. It would make them a lot easier to delete if they all went to a specific folder.
