So Im happy that with Foyo you can save apps to your sd card. I was wondering tho, when I do get the update can I just transfer my current apps to my sd card? Or how would that work? That clears up alot of your internal memory as well I assume? Does it speed up the phone at al?

Also, in froyo can you clear the market search?
 
Unfortunately you'll still need to wait for each developer to enable their app to be moved to SD. Although by the time Froyo is actually released you'd have thought they'd have all done it!
 
I wanna root.. but Im a simple person. I dont care about custom roms and all that. If I do root, it would be just to get a few extra apps(I really want the flashlight) and get rid of stock apps(big thing for me), and well now to move my apps to my sd card and free up internal memory. Can I root and just do those things?
