So I needed a new battery for my phone with a lg-k9/aristo-2. I looked on amazon and they say they have aritso-2 battery but its for the k8. I was wondering, would this work still?

What would work for the device?i do not have your device, but i would get something that is for your device.....that is just me. it might work as long as they have the same specs and is the correct size.
Lg-K9/Aristo 2what's the model number of your phone?
As @ocnbrze noted, these appear to be two different phones. Please clarify which one you're actually using.for my phone with a lg-k9/aristo-2.
I was told mine is LG-K9, sorryWelcome to Android Forums, SaidJaleel Guimba!

Personally, I would not use a battery if it didn't explicitly include my device in its compatibility list. The wrong battery could do nasty things.
tbh i have no idea. there is not much on the net for your phone let alone for your phone's battery. it might work. it might not. with batteries i always make sure that i get a battery made specifically for the phone. using other batteries not made for your phone, you run the risk of the battery not working, overheating or even exploding!!!!I was told mine is LG-K9, sorry
but would a k-8 battery or aristo-2 battery work as I cannot find a k9 one online

does the phone even have a removable battery?
pull the battery out and report what it says on the battery. we might be able to use that info to see if there is something similar on the net.Yes it does
I found a few new OEM batteries for the LG K9, such as this one and this one, on eBay.I was told mine is LG-K9, sorry

nice find @MoodyBlues !!!!!!!I found a few new OEM batteries for the LG K9, such as this one and this one, on eBay.
The tool kit that comes with it suggests that it's not easily replaced. Last year, I bought a replacement battery for my phone, and once I saw the kit, realized that I'd have to pry the phone apart, breaking its glued seal, and then work with itsy-bitsy screws...I bought a new phone instead.
Batteries for your device are very hard to find. I'm guessing the reason is that most people do what I did!
As for using an Aristo 2 battery, I don't think so. Aristo, not Aristo 2, is listed in the compatibility list of the batteries I found. One way to be sure: contact LG.
They said does not ship to Canada, where I liveI found a few new OEM batteries for the LG K9, such as this one and this one, on eBay.

just do a google search for BL-45F1F batteries for the lg phones. i would also verify that is the battery you have on your phone. if it is then you can search for it using the model number and you should be good to go.They said does not ship to Canada, where I live
Thanks!nice find @MoodyBlues !!!!!!!
I saw in the link you mentioned, it said K-8. So should a k-8 battery work for a k-9?just do a google search for BL-45F1F batteries for the lg phones. i would also verify that is the battery you have on your phone. if it is then you can search for it using the model number and you should be good to go.
I mean, it doesn't ship to Canada and I looked on Amazon and they sell K-8 batteries but it doesn't mention k9. So should I buy one of those maybeit also mentioned the k-9......so yes it "should" work
Do you know anyone in the US who could send it to you?it doesn't ship to Canada
No, right nowDo you know anyone in the US who could send it to you?
