Questions about NFC functionality

Good day everyone, got a couple of probably simplistic questions about NFC, just can't find the answers out there anywhere....

First, if I were to put a tag in my car dock phone bay, to where the phone would basically be in contact with it the whole time it was in the dock, would that cause problems anywhere? I'm suspecting something on the matter of constantly reading it causing battery drain, or constantly toggling (if it had a toggle switch programmed).

Second, I've noticed that there are secondary commands you can send to apps once they've launched, does anyone know of readily available information about what kind of commands these may be?

Hi, actually we get this question often.
Its was discussed in the NFC Task Launcher thread at XDA
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1359057

If I recall correctly, the task will not be constantly being read...and as far as battery usage is concerned most people reported it made no noticeable difference.
