Help Questions about the Flyer

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a Flyer but have a few questions I'd like help with please.

3G or Wi-Fi - I'm assuming that these are the two options.
If I was to buy the Wi-Fi model could I still use my HTC Desire as a WiFi hotspot and then connect the Flyer to it to browse the web?

16Gb or 32Gb - How much benefit would there be in buying the 32GB version even though the intention is to use it on Wi-Fi only. I understand that I would be able to have more programs in the device but realistically would the 16Gb version be a hindrance given most programs could be run from SD.
The issues of limited memory on my HTC Desire and the cut down version of Gingerbread OS to make it fit prompts me to ask this.

Finally, would there be any restrictions in terms of re-downloading any paid for apps that I have on my HTC Desire and using them on the Flyer.

1- Yes you can use your htc desire as a wifi hotspot.. that's what I have been doing at least for the past week.

2- I wanted to get the 16gb because you can add a SD slot and I never cared for 3G since i'm going to be using WiFi most of the time. The reason I bought the 32gb is because they don't have the 16GB in my country for some reason

3- Most of the apps that I bought on my Desire HD, I re downloaded them on my Flyer... except for some apps such as the launchers (SPB Shell 3d and ADW) and a game from Gameloft.. tried to install it from the android market website but it told me that my flyer doesn't support the game or the launchers.

I think your situation is similar to here in Thailand. 3G not widely available outside of Bangkok.

Does the 3G version not have an SD slot? Or did you mean you can simply add an SD card to make up for the lower memory.

It does have a SD slot, thats exactly what I meant that since you can add a SD card you can make up for the lower memory.

Most helpful. I am going tomorrow to hopefully purchase a Flyer. I'll see what models are available and will likely buy the WiFi only version.

I'll let you know what I end up with.
