so im thinking about getting a Song Ericsson Xperia and i just have some questions, how customisable is it?

It seems to have Android 1.6 as stock, can you upgrade to 2.1 or 2.2?
does 2.1 enable live wallpapers?

2.1 is supposed to be released sometime in sept? and 2.2 is anybodies guess but having said that some of the guys over at xda say they have root for it so you would be able to put anything on it with custom roms which i think will make this the best phone on the market by a long way! (just my opinion)
