Hi all,
I am a volunteer in a small sports club in Iceland.
We want to make an app to help us keep in touch with fans, parents and practitioners.
The function we want in the app is something like shown in the attached image.
The news category would just get rss feeds from our website which uses Wordpress
football practices would as well get rss feeds from that same webiste.
Notifications from trainers.
Today some trainers use blog sites and others use facebook groups to get their message to parents and practitioners.
Is this no issue to let the app fetch notifications from both blogs and facebook groups?
Would it maybe be best to have all the trainers use one method to communicate?
Then we would like to be able to sell in-app advertising to sponsors.
Therefor we would like to have some kind of control panel where we could add and remove advertising.
It is also necessary for us to be able to change links where the app gets it feeds.
Is this possible and how would it work?
We want to offer this app both for Android phones and iPhones.
Is it simple to convert an Android app to an Iphone app?
And the last question, is it best to find developers through Guru and similar sites or is there some other site better suited for this type of project?
