Root Quick and hopefully easy question

I have just rooted recently, and am enjoying my first rooted phone. I am almost completely ignorant of the inner workings of Android/Linux, and if it was not for the Triumph being so easy rooted, I probably wouldn't have attempted it. My question is about apps that came on the phone that i normally couldnt delete. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that now I can. How,though, is what i haven't figured out. Also, how do I keep apps that I dont want running from doing so? I know, thats two questions, but I am banking on ya alls overwhelming kindness...;)

download and install rom toolbox free from the play store. you can disable/enable autostart apps and remove system apps from the app manager, along with a slew of other things it can do.

edit: oh ya if prompted for superuser access allow

You can use a file explorer (ES File Explorer) or titanium backup as well. Just make sure that you don't delete anything that is needed for the phone to work right.

And it would probably be best if you made a backup using Clockworkmod recovery BEFORE you start to delete stuff. Just in case...
