There's a galaxy note edge that I want for sale on a craigslist ad. The guy/girl says that its factory unlocked and it will work with every carrier but on the back of the phone, it shows an ATT symbol. Any help that you wonderful people can give me???

If there's an AT&T logo then it was sold by AT&T. Even if they had it unlocked, Verizon is pretty picky about only allowing Verizon phones (other then phones like Nexus 5x/6p).

Also Phone Scoop doesn't list the GSM Note Edge as having a CDMA antenna:

You also have to be wary of claims of being unlocked. It may in fact be unlocked, but for whatever reason could be blacklisted which means it could work for a short time and then all of a sudden stop, leaving you with a wifi device of questionable origin.

From a technical standpoint, @kate is right. It will only work on GSM networks that support AT&T frequency bands.
