Help Quick Battery Drain, Charging Takes Forever

Hi,

I'm sure there's many threads on this, so after reading if anyone has links they can point me to that would be great...

I just bought a new battery (Anker) for my Note 2 because it drains so fast now...about 1% every 3-5 minutes and it took all day to charge to 100%...and sometimes not above 90.

I have the same issues with the new battery. I've done some virus scans, etc...but I'm not sure how to proceed to fix this.

Any help on this would be much appreciated. :)

Still haven't figured out why it takes literally ALL DAY to charge my battery. I have everything turned off and have a new battery.

Any ideas how I could troubleshoot this?

I've tried the above and nothing. The charging all day is what is really frustrating. It takes 10 hours to charge the battery...and I've tried 3 batteries!

I'm thinking something with the device. Any suggestions?

The 2 obvious things to check are the charger itself. Make sure it isn't a wimpy 500ma charger... or coming straight from a usb socket on a pc

The other thing is the use cable itself. My note really doesn't like some usb cables. A general rule of thumb is that thicker cables tend to charge quicker than thin ones. Software like ampere can help you work out your ideal combination
