This is an unabashed plug for Quick Charge 2.0 accessories by Choetech.
Once I got my Galaxy S6 edge, my highest priorities were screen protector and case. However, I was using the phone a lot more than normal and found frequent need to charge it. Unfortunately, with the exception of the OEM charger that came with the phone, my wireless charger was too slow and my automotive charger could barely keep up with my phone set for GPS with maximum brightness.
I recently got three products made by a company called Choetech that I had never heard of and that I now highly recommend.
1) They have a really neat wide wireless charging pad. Creates a much larger surface area and very attractively made with an unobtrusive blue LED in one corner. Not only does it charge much faster than my original charging pad, but the increased surface area gives me a lot more flexibility in how I place it, or accidentally knock it off position. The only drawback is squabbling over it with my wife who is always placing her phone incorrectly on the original charger and then complaining when it is not charged.
2) Automotive multiport USB Car Charger. I practically always use my GPS with the phone on maximum brightness in my car. With the Galaxy S6 edge I noticed my existing charger was barely maintaining the charge on my phone. This unit works like a charm with its built-in quick charge 2.0 capability rapidly charging my phone while it is running Waze on full brightness. Because it has four slots built-in, I don't have to fight with my wife and kids who somehow have phones that are never charged when they get into the car.
3) The last item was desktop 2.0 Quick Charge multiport USB charger. Here again, I was able to reduce the clutter of of different chargers plugged in to my wall socket. Other phones, cameras etc. The unit is a six slot compact charger that sits neatly on the corner of my desk, charges extremely fast and can handle simultaneously, the four separate electronic items that use USB charging in my home office. My office is still cluttered, but no longer by wires and four separate USB plugs that clutter up my electrical sockets.
There might be other manufacturers that make similar products, but I am loving these units and hence this long-winded plug.If anyone's interested I can post pictures .
