Quick dumb question about market

Got a new phone using same SD card but when I log into the Market my apps from previous phone are not loading back..

Generally apps are stored on the internal memory of the phone and not the SD card. Ifyou "move app to SD" it usually only moves part of the app, usually data or cache.

The exception to this is when the phone is rooted and the SD card is partitioned to "trick" the phone into thinking its internal memory.

But if you log into the market using the same account as before then you should see a list of all the apps you had previously and be able to download and install them to your new phone (it doesn't matter if you paid for any, they will be there too and you won't have to pay again)

I'm new to it myself, so I can't tell you where to find this list, sorry.

Your entire list of all your apps u have ever had on any android is in google dashboard as well. you can reinstall them from there as well.
