Quick hello from an ambitious buggar

Alright there lads and lasses,

Names' Charles, uni student in my last year needing general help.

We have a project, where we can basically do anything. The general idea is though, that it's something new. I've decided to do an android app, hardly new BUT it's the app that will be something new.

NO idea what app, what it's going to do but i'll work it out.

Anyway I have no experience developing one, none.

BUT I know Actionscript/Javascript 3 pretty well, and some SQL command line (if that means anything) and just for completeness sake i'm good with CSS.

That's about it, i'm basically gonna pop up asking random very newbie questions but ya have to start somewhere eh!

I want to make something fairly awesome by the way, I mean I don't know a lot...but I have about 8 months so they're expecting something pretty bloody good.

From the point of my view, the fresh idea represent half of the success of an App. However, since this is your first time, maybe you should choose some typical type and treat it as practice.
