Help Quick question about handcent/messaging

I installed handcent but when I get a text I am receiving two notifications one from handcent and one from the default how do I default it to notify me only on handcent?

Turn off auto-retrieval and notifications in the stock app.

Thanks so much, that was soo annoying, didn't realize the settings on the default ...
