Quick question about returning a defect phone...

Thought I was getting a just bare bones refurbished, but no, I got what seems to be a brand new DInc2. Cable, charger, battery, 16gb card, sim card. What do I NEED to send back? Don't want to waste the extras

Normally they just request the phone back. I know some people send it with the battery and others don't. If you want to avoid any problems after the fact I'd call to ask.

Might have to. Not looking to rip them off, not since I got a brand new phone. But if they don't want it, I'm not sending it lol

That's how I look at things - I am to the point now where whenever anyone in my family has to return something I'm the one who calls and says "I'm sending 'insert product here', is anything else required?" Most of the time they don't want anything else back.

Don't you have to get a new sim whenever you have to replace a phone? I've been told and read that you can keep the battery. Only thing I'm not sure of is the sd card.

Other thing is to make sure they receive the phone and not try to charge you full price saying they didn't get it. I have some personal experience with this and let me tell you it was a headache proving that I sent it out.

It's a global sim, not like the 4G LTE sim. I believe. Not 100%, but as far as I know, it has no use while in the states. I never activated it so I'll leave the sim cards as they are.

Yeah, I know when I get my replacement phone, it comes in a box inside plastic wrap, and doesn't include any of the stuff you got. It should have come with instructions on exactly what needs to go back. But its usually just the phone, not even the back cover.

P.S. Nice to see someone close by! Statesboro here.
