Quick question on rooting

never rooted a phone, never really had a reason to before.

Now that I am looking at the S6 as my next phone I will most likely want to root it to remove Bloat ware, my question is this, how much can you actually remove?? can I eliminate all Verizon apps? and a lot of the Samsung Apps like their messenger/calendar/email app so I can replace them with Google's messenger/calendar/Inbox app?

Is there a limit to what I can uninstall? already just recently read the S6 comes with a useless Clean master/ Speed booster app from Cheetah Mobile, and McAfee antivirus. Can these be removed with a root?

my end goal is making this phone as close to a Google Play Edition/Nexus device as possible.

You can disable all that bloatware by following this guide. Keep in mind, that this will not free up space since the bloatware is installed onto the system partition.

You can't root anyway, Verizon bootloader is locked down.
