Root Quick Question

Got a Droid X. Need Help !

Was running Darkslide 4.2 and everything was fine. I did a CW Bootstrap recovery and did a back up and restore. Rebooted phone and all was well.

Rebooted into CW Bootstrap and installed Tranquility 3.7. System will not boot for some reason.

How can i get into CW Bootstrap to install my backup while turning on phone?

Hold down the Home and power buttons at the same time. It is my understanding that if the last time the phone was booted, you used CW recovery then the system automatically will boot into CW recovery the very next time. Give that a try.

Tried that and it "worked" but only gave me the option to reboot or install update.zip which did not work.

When you get into CW recovery try hitting the power button one time. Hopefully that will take you to the main Cw menu
