Root Quick question

Is there any possible way of dual booting an android phone? It would be so awesome to be able to switch between 2 Roms without reflashing each Rom.

Back up and restore that's what I do its the only way.

No doing pOsSuM72 is not the only way. There are apps that allow you to dual boot roms as you said but you are going to have to look around. try looking on the playstore or xda-developers.com. Although i do not not if they are compatible with the eilte as the ones I saw you had to pay.

It's possible, there are dual boot setups for a lot of different phones, just search 'dual boot' in xda. As far as I know, nobody has tried it for the Elite; so it would take an enterprising dev to give us a proper setup for a dual boot environment.

Yup but you have to be sure to install it on the internal memory. I do not think your standard SD card would be good to handle to repetitive read and writes that Andriod does and because of that would be slow on an SD card. Curtain SD cards can handle in better than other. I remember someone saying Sandisk is good but do not quote me on that. One of my favorite apps that i see is the mutitasker. It lets you have two apps side by side open at the same time. Its only available for certain devices but i am sure it wouldn't be hard to port over.

I've dualbooted ROMs off my sdcard for my Evo V so it is possible but I really doubt it would be for that phone. :)
