quick rom manager question

I have 40 apps. I backed up my current rom/theme through rom manager. If I want to try a different rom and I do a wipe on the data/cache, I understand I will start with nothing on a new rom. 0 apps.

If I decide I don't like this rom and I want to go back to my backed up rom/theme, will those 40 apps be restored?

I guess what I'm asking is does backing up a rom through rom manager also backup all downloaded applications.

Yes, provided you restore that particular backup that you made and don't do wfm scarf restore and leave out /data.

In fact, it will be restored to exactly the way it was before, right when you started your backup - any sms, calls, etc that you received in the new rom will not be in the old one.
