QuickBoot mode

Is there any danger in using it?
Like I realise that when you use it the phone is never actually "off" and I know it's bad to let a li-ion battery completely discharge so is there a risk that when using QuickBoot the battery will completely discharge while the phone is "off"?

I'm gonna say avoid it:
If memory serves me correctly,HTC had it on the M7 (2013) & omitted it from the M8,know for a fact its not on the DevEdition M9..........

Cool thanks mate. It's not something I actually need as my phone is never off lol. I was just wondering.
Do you know why HTC omitted it?

I'm guessing the risk/reward for having it available might have proven its not a good thing,having the device never actually powering down all the way.
Probably sounded good in the marketing brainstorm sessions,but,I'm willing to bet it wasn't a feature many cared about &/or even knew existed.
