I did a factory reset and after awhile quickoffice appeared. The version that appeared allows me to create .doc .docx and .xcl files. Has this been out for awhile just for the captivate? I remember i had to download it from the market and that version was only able to read documents.

Doesnt it come stock with the captivate? I have it come with my stock phone

I had to download mine. It was free AND I can edit with it.

Mine came with the phone. One of my most used apps and I can edit/create docs. I normally use it to take notes in class.

That last update a few months ago have us office quick. That was our first and last update for this phone probably. IMO

I believe the one in the market was just a viewer, the version added with JH7 update is the full version.
