Help QuickPic no longer edits

I've used QuickPic to view my photos since June 2014. It has an editing feature, which used to work well, but today I tried editing a pic and it said "load failed" and the edited version disappeared. Anyone else having trouble with this?

I just tried mine..version 4.1.
I had no problems but are you able to edit but not able to save the edit? Or is the edit option not there?
Does it work/not work with other pix?

Also on version 4.1 edit worked fine on nexus 5 lollipop 5.0.2 which version of android do you have and phone make model?
