Thanks for the investigation EM. My copy is uninstalled an d will remain that way. (It is interesting the you trust Google to do anything.)
I have found that when you store something that has gone bad ... it has a tendency to keep causing problems.
I deal with people that I ask "how many calendars do you use on your phone"? 99% of the time they say one.
Remembering the good version of an app that was absorbed by an untrustworthy group is behold them. At some time they would do an update ... to get the fancy new version.
In support of that concept ... why does everyone want to go to Lollipop? They feel left out. They are antsy to upgrade. Newer is ALWAYS better.
As I mentioned ... uninstalled ... will stay that way. Too bad.
