Quickpic won't send anything, so I need help!

I downloaded the app because I wanted to be able to save all of my pictures to my tablet (Surface Windows 8), and I've got them connected via Bluetooth but whenever I try to either send the pictures from the phone (micro sd card) to the tablet it says that it failed and the connection was unsuccessful. And when I look at my tablets connections or whatever it says that my phone is offline -_- So then, I decided that I could just put the photos back in the phones internal memory, but I have no idea how exactly to do that lol. And then, I thought that I could just put the micro sd into my tablet, but my tablet tells me that to work the sd card must be reformatted, which will delete everything off of it. And then I tried to just plug them up to each other with the usb, but I can't get into the phones files that way. So, I'm basically stuck in a big mess. Anyone know how I should go about to fix this?

If everything else fails, why not use Dropbox or Google Drive? Both are free and easy to use.

Got a desk or laptop? Take the pics off the phone or card and store on the pc.
Then transfer to other device from pc to fix current problem. What phone? If a Samsung, you might have to use KIES.

Use what vosg said in the future. Dropbox does work very well. I go between Android, Windows and Linux with it.
