Root QuickRemote on ZV5 custom?

The one feature I miss using is Quick Remote, I am running ZV5 custom and Volt Uno kernel, and I can't figure out how to get that feature back. Ideas?

Either get the apks for the remote and quickset and reinstall them, or install a full zv5 and debloat.

LG's IR blaster (the remote thing) is proprietary software and even remote apps in the Play store will not work (so they say).

I haven't found one that works.
