I don't have the phone yet, but I'm very interested in the Quiet Mode feature as it one that I would definitely want to use.
Can you please tell me if it also disables the LED & vibrate along with sounds? - or will the LED continue to blink when QM activated? Thanks!

Quiet mode does not disable the LED only does what it says if it is working and that is mute all volumes, while allowing what numbers you say are ok to ring Through. Everything else would not go off. It is very similar to motorola's smart actions. I just can't get it to work right.

I'm afraid I didn't keep it activated long enough to test it fully. That persistent notification was a deal breaker for me. I did verify that it works from the standpoint of muting all notifications and non white listed calls but I ditched out before the scheduler kicked in.

Just put the LED on the quick toggles and turn off before bed.
My scheduled quiet mode works fine.

Unfortunately the Verizon variant apparently does not have a Quick Settings toggle for the LED.

Wow. If that's true then put a settings widget that opium LED settings directly.

Wow.
So, not only did they change the back buttons and made them worse, but took away the one thing this phone is famous for , being highly customizable.
Is Apple paying Verizon to kill this phone?
Anyway. Put a direct settings widget to the led settings. Or did they take that out too?
This is why I'm glad there aren't any contacts in Thailand. You buy the phones as they come from the manufacturer

Vzw does that without assistance. There is however, a toggle at settings > display for the notification light.

Yes. I guess the best way is to put a widget. There's a "settings shortcut" widget. Set it to open display.

Hi,
We tested a few here and are not seeing this issue. It may be an issue with the software on your phone.
We would suggest a reset on the phone [factory]. Be sure to back your phone up prior to doing this as you will lose everything on the device.
If that does not work, it is recommended to take it to a store locally [for your carrier] to see if they can check or flash the software.

Verizon is sending me a replacement Since the Mic is also not working properly. it only works sometimes when in a call other people can't hear me, and if they can it's like i'm a mile away.
This happens on my Verizon G2 as well. What happens is the quiet mode "Scheduler" takes over when quiet mode is enabled, even if the Scheduler is not separately enabled. Even though they appear to be and should be separate features. I tested it by setting the Scheduler for a certain "off" time, then manually enabling quiet mode without enabling the scheduler. At the "off" time, quiet mode automatically turned off. I even tried blanking out all the days covered by the scheduler and it still turns off at the time designated by the scheduler. This is a pretty blatant bug for what would have been a very useful feature that should be addressed by LG. Cross reference to Android Central thread:

For those of you that are having problems with the LED staying on when in quiet mode, you should try the free app Light Flow. It allows you to set a quiet mode for the LED's as well as level of brightness. Been using it on several of my phones over the years and really like it.
As for quiet mode not working, it seems like it has been working better for me since the last two updates.
