okay i am now rooted with s=off and i have a couple of issues.... i can use the help on this so anyone please.....

1- do i need to keep visionary installed even now that I have acheived the s=off status?
2- if i do need to keep visionary on, how should I have it set? i currently have it set to allow for system r/w after boot and for the permroot to be enabled as well. but i CANNOT modify the system file (all i am trying to do i copy over some ringtones) - i currently have root explorer installed and i cannot toggle r/w from with it using the little grey button. r/o is the only capability afforded to me at this point.

thanks for the help =)

I dont think you need to keep visionary, but you might as well. But while you're permarooted have everything unchecked, as root automatically sets system r/w

You don't need to actually use visionary unless you want to unroot (Which works quite well if i do say so myself)

thanks a lot!!! i was having some real issues R/W'ing to the system folder which I though was strange after the s=off status was achieved. could that have something to do with visionary do you think?
