Racism

I dont agree with his beliefs... although since he was obviously drunk Im not sure what his beliefs are...... but I am 100% in favor of HIS right to believe what HE wants.... and anyone who thinks he shouldnt be saying it is 100% wrong
 
That guy might be drunk but the funny thing is the leader/founder of EDL sounds just as daft when he's sober.

His Paxman interview was comical.

Indeed...it was Voltaire who said "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."

P.S. I'm not sure that guy is drunk...but I am sure he is stupid. By exercising his right to free speech he's demonstrating how stupid his views are. ;)

oh dude. speaking of these guys, and in reference to the other thread in which i stated that i've never been called a racial slur here in the south...i volunteered to be a "blocker" at a Jewish synogogue in my area that the Westboro people were going to picket. one of their members called me a ****** lover.

i've also driven up to Arlington to "block" at funerals for service members.

Hmm... did his parents come from Britain? I'm not familiar with the history of South Africa. I'm wondering if he had British ancestors (I might be going too far back lol) that came to South Africa and British English slowly developed into South African English, but still kept remnants of the British accent.
 
I have to say stinky... the link makes it look like he's the most racist person in South Africa. lol I was hesitant to play it since I didn't want to listen to racist guy. I watched a good deal though and know what he's talking about.

Definitely NOT a British accent.

Many white South Africans have Dutch ancestors. Some have British ancestors. The Afrikaans language is essentially a Dutch dialect. English is a second language to many white South Africans.

I do know what he's on about but when every other word is FKing this and FKing that I tend to switch off. Having to prefix everything with FKing is what I'm getting at.
