Root Radio question

Dantastic

Newbie
So quick question for you guys. I plan on rooting later on. I read scotties thing about radios under the how to sticky but wanted to make sure. I think I'm now on Mr2. Baseband: 1.39.00.0627r; 0.01.69.625r.

Now I believe that can run both froyo and gb roms, is that correct? I plan on running bamf 3.0 rc 4.9 and wanted to make sure I didn't have to flash any other radios, because if I could avoid hboot, the better. Thanks in advance for the input!

This is a very good question. There are just so many radios out there with no one post that says which version equals which baseband etc. I actually don't think that your radios are MR2, I think they are MR2.5 (whatever that is) And then there are the leaks and official OTA and unofficial OTA ?? I mean how the heck does one figure this out?

Tremendous post there scotty, thanks much. I never looked at that because I know how to root, didn't think you'd have all that radio info in it. I'm going to go with MR2 for now (double hboot flash I presume) since my battery if from hunger right now. Let you know how it goes. Thanks again.

Edit: crap page not found
Edit2: I might have found a combined zip for both cdma and lte MR2.. yep here it is:

So I just rooted last night and flashed the MR2 radio. How will I know which roms it works with when I'm looking in the ROM sticky?
