One of my favourite apps that I have been using for years has excellent Wear integration. Rain Alarm (free) and Rain alarm Pro (about $4).
I live in Brisbane Australia, so we get alot of storms in Summer, and this app is very useful for warning me when a storm is coming. It's linked to weather radar systems and warns me when a storm comes into range of a user definable area.
It's highly customisable too, for example you can choose the intensity to be warned about.
Pro gets you no advertisements and more options.
It works perfectly well without a watch, but on the watch I get alerts and can bring up a radar map to see how big the storm is etc.
Probably not much use if you do not see much bad weather, but for rain or snow it's invaluable.
IMPORTANT: make sure you check the list for compatibility in your country, it does not work everywhere. I'm guessing that it doesn't work in countries with no open access to weather radar APIs.
They have versions for just about everything too, from IOS to firefox to windows 8.
