Help Ram decreased after android upgrade

Hello There,

I am using micromax unite2 handset. Company offered me upgrade from android Kitkat to Lolipop version.
After update my phone's ram has came down to 600 mb from 1GB. I am not able to install any app on it.
Could you please guide me what to do to increase phone's Ram.

You could try a factory reset,But backup your data first.

A moot point if the OP has already taken the upgrade.

OP, what error messages do you get when you try to install stuff? Are you confusing RAM with internal storage?

Is that available storage is down to 600MB from 1GB? I could be the downloaded update zip file is still there. Usually it should automatically delete after the update completes. Check in the internal storage for a zip file that's about 400MB possibly.
