Ram Usage? Two part question.

So the Galaxy is supposed to have 2 gigs of ram. However, when i look up my ram status it says i have 1.59 gigs of ram. Why do i have 1.59 when the phone is supposed to have 2 gigs? Also my phone is always using around 800mbs of ram. Is that normal?

Both are normal, part of the RAM is reserved for other phone processes. 1.59 is what your apps have access to. And unused RAM is wasted RAM, so yea it using 800mb is no problem
