Ran Quadrant Standard

So I was bored and decided to run a Quadrant Standard Test, the results are not that great but not too bad either. It is interesting that it scored higher than the stock x10i.

I don't even know what one is but I have just downloaded it and run it cos I am intrigued. I am not rooted so thought my results would be the same as the SE displayed but I got a 528. Is that good?!
 
I ran it pre and post Eminence ROM upgrade. Pre I would get high 400's/low 500's and with Eminence I get low 700's :D

Hi there rosered, doing good and you? :)

The higher the number the better it is supposedly but there is also a school of thought that it doesn't prove anything about the total functionality of the phone. I don't know if rooting would make much of a difference. Your numbers are pretty close to mine so I think the SE x10i number displayed maybe OS 1.6?

Oh wow, that is a huge difference.
 
Just run it on my X8 for the sheer hell of it. Got 415, so slow slow slow.

And plus one on the 700. I just tried reading X10iusers page from the link and it's all a bit over my head. One day, perhaps a bit nearer the end of my contract I'll have a play with my phone and do some amazing stuff with it. Mind you by then maybe we will all be running 2.2/2.3 with a cracked boot loader and custom just about everything!

I believe he loaded Android 2.2 (which is still a Beta on the x10 and it does not have a working camera and camera applications don't work on 2.2 on the X10 yet)

It is not that easy to load Android 2.2 Beta and it currently only runs on the SDCard and doesn't install 2.2 Android on the internal memory.

I would wait until Android 2.2 is perfected for x10...probably not going to be available from Sony...

Nope, Eminence ROM is 2.1. I'm curious how he got that score as I only get in the 700's with it.

I know beside his name it says 2.1 Eminence, but if you look on the XDA forum, the people getting those crazy scores, are the one's that have installed 2.2 and have it running off the SDCard.

It would be cool if you could get it to run that quick on 2.1....but I donno if that is possible.

Didn't that dude mention in another thread that he uninstalled 2.1 and installed 1.6 again?

Not sure...guess he will have to let us know what he has.
 
My result is immediately after installation of version 2.1root, again with a few applications.:p
Now, with over 100 applications, the score is between 720 and 750, sometimes it is lower ...:(
I think we need to go beyond something special while 2.1, and can be reached with 2.2 scores over 2000!:eek:
I agree it is 2.2 for that score, but it would be interesting to confirm by KTP:confused:

It was achieved with tripnravers 2.2 rom which is not run from the SD card but yes its in beta.
I also have Z's 2.2 rom but it only gets 825 on quadrant and seems very slow, I need to try reinstall that one as most people report it to be fast.

My main rom is eminence 2.1 and its high 700's :)
 
One of these I need to give eminence 2.1 a try. I have rooted 2.1, update 1, build 0.24, I am presuming I can do eminence ROM from it?

Yeah you can, its an awesome rom. I'm back on z's 2.2 feels quicker but quandrant scores still low :(
