Help Random apps appearing in folders...

Doe anyone know how to stop these last three "apps" from appearing? They are not really apps, they are shortcut links to some app website. They are not always in the same folder, and they go away and reappear at random. I have run CCleaner and Malware Bytes they find nothing.

EDIT:

There's Korean stuff there. I suspect Dodol Launcher is the culprit, they are a Korean(Seoul) company. And the apps being pushed/promoted via the launcher are used to monetize it, that's why it's "free". Uninstall it, and problem will be solved I think. Nova is a good launcher to use, and is often recommended on here.

CCleaner and Malware Bytes may not detect anything amiss here, because it is effectively ads inside their own product, i.e. their launcher, and that's what they do.

For information this is what I saw when I looked at installing Dodol on my Oppo.

"Containing adverts plugin" ....I did NOT continue.

Oppo's Color OS does a check of any apps that are sideloaded, and does flag adware, even if it's apparently benign.

CCleaner is Cheetah Mobile now? :thumbsdowndroid: That was always a reputable PC program for keeping Windows in check, I used it for years. Android version I never touched, no need.
 
Quickpic became Cheetah.

The CCleaner and Clean Master blue broom logos look rather similar. But CCleaner was around long before Cheetah ever happened.
 
Yeah, I remember that one, but I thought there was a utility package that got sucked up, too.
 
DU Battery Saver is Baidu, and as is anything "DU", and are often best avoided.

Cheetah Mobile is now is a subsidiary of Kingsoft, makers of WPS Office.
 
It appears as though it was CCleaner (original crap cleaner). I uninstalled yesterday and have not seen the spamcuts at all today. I notice Android still utilizes Cleaner Master in its Smart Manager file management program,... must be different utilities. The one I removed was the one with logo of large red C and blue broom, from piriform.

Actually it was Samsung, they did include a version of Clean Master for a while on their devices, but they no longer do now. I know the late Galaxy Note7 didn't have anything by Cheetah on it, and neither does the S7. :thumbsupdroid:

I do think if you get any more Korean language spam app download shortcuts appearing, it's almost certainly Dodol Launcher(Korean adware) rather than CCleaner. If you went back to stock TouchWiz, the Korean ads wouldn't appear because Dodol isn't running

AFAIK Piriform doesn't do adverts and spam in their products, as they also do more capable paid versions of their utilities. Dodol does not, they're monetized with adware and data mining only. Same for Cheetah Mobile.
