Help Random Reboots

Hello, I was just wondering if someone could tell me what might cause a phone to random reboot? I bought two droid X phones off ebay from diffrent sellers one for me and the other for my wife. Well mine is Rebooting about 3 times a day on its own? I was just playing Angry Birds and about 10 mins into it the phone just rebooted. I do have insurance but before i go that far could it be a software problem, or is the phone on its way out? thanks

I was having my phone reboot a couple of times a day as well as locking up 6-8 times per day. It was also getting waaaay too hot. I called Verizon and they overnighted me a refurb.

I would try uninstalling as much as you can. The reboots could be a clash with an installed app. You might want to do a factory reset and see if that stops the reboots. If not, then you might have a bad phone.

My third replacement did this. They sent a fourth as a result of this problem and two others the X exhibited including touch screen not working and not taking a charge.

Hope your phones don't continue this behavior since I wouldn't think you qualify for replacement.

Same here getting #4 tomorrow

#1- Lost all data connection, would not connect to #g or 1x or anything

#2- intermittent 3G, (tested next to the wife's Droid 1)

#3- Random Reboots and getting way too hot

Hoping #4 lasts a bit longer, my NE2 is August
