Random screen sensitivity issue on Maxx HD after JB upgrade

Please see the following two links. I'm having this issue on my Maxx HD after upgrading to JB and it's driving me nuts. The screen sensitivity mainly occurs after I hit the Recent Apps soft key and then select a running app. This occurs at totally random intervals and is clearly a software issue. Anyone else experiencing this? I had no such problem previously with ICS. I'm stock, non-rooted and running Nova Prime.

I don't have the issue. I went to the xda link and tried the steps to simulate the problem, but my phone worked fine. I had this problem on ICS running off of a Rom slot in safestrap. I would get intervals of touchscreen non-responsiveness, but it would be coupled with lag. I have never had the issue on the stock rom slot in safestrap though. I am also running Nova Prime.
I will keep an eye on it though since you said it is intermittent. However, I hardly ever use the recent apps button.

Thanks for the response. I had this identical problem when I had a Galaxy Nexus on Jelly Bean, so it's obviously a software problem. Perhaps I have a misbehaving app or one that isn't playing nice with JB? I wouldn't think so since my phone ran flawlessly on ICS with the exact same apps.

I'm pretty surprised that this isn't more widespread. It seems to be pretty widespread among Jelly Bean users, regardless of phone make or model. I've heard all kinds of possible causes, including Swiftkey 3, brightness settings, etc. It seems like all the complaints over at Google's site are falling on deaf ears. I know someone might tell me to do a factory reset but I did that twice on my old Nexus and the problem persisted, so I'm not going to bother with my Maxx. It's clearly a JB issue.

I'm having this issue with notifications and with one or two apps inside the app...as is my gf with her RZR HD so its not really model related from what I can tell...

Perhaps not the same issue but I notice that I bring up the wall paper screen a bit more often now if one of my fingers lingers on the home screen a bit too long (or hard).
