I use Handcent, and every now and then (it acts up some times more than others), a message will be deleted as soon as it's received. I have the notifications so that it scrolls the message at the notification bar, but even as that's happening, it doesn't show up in the thread. I go back and check the stock messaging app, and it's not there either. I have the Razr now, but it was the exact same issue with my X.
I searched around other forums, and everything that came up was people having ALL their texts deleted, whereas mine is just a single text here and there. And it's not like it shows up in the thread and is deleted - it just never shows up in the thread. The only place it will show up is in the notification bar (like I mentioned above), and in the popup, when I have that feature enabled. I've had no other texting issues, aside from this one.
Any ideas as to why this happens?
