This has happened a few times now over the past 3 months since I got my Droid Razr. About 1-2 times a month, I notice that the phone would randomly turn on and then off in rapid fashion. The phone is just sitting on the table, and I glance over and see the screen flickering on to the lockout screen, and immediately turning off. It would occur over and over again (at varying intervals) for the next minute until I pick it up and turn it on myself.
My hunch is whether this is caused by the phone trying to connect to wifi? Would it do this type of behavior if it drops a wifi connection and tries to regain it over and over again? I've really only notice this occur when I'm in areas where the wifi is spotty. Or is wifi completely unrelated?
Any help?
