i dropped my out-of-warranty s3 on a wood floor and there didn't seem to by any major damage. however, now the phone randomly powers off on can't be turned back on unless i pull the battery and put it back in. i can then power the phone back on. i have to do this several times a day.
i tried a different battery - same thing. factory reset - same thing.
so it's pretty much narrowed down to a hardware issue at this point.
is there anything i might be able to check by opening up the phone? Any last resort before tossing this thing and purchasing a new one?
