I own The Ace for the past three months, and have had to send it to the service center twice due to one small music player problem, and now bricking it.
For the music player problem, they kept my phone for about 3 days, before returning it with my problem unsolved, and even then keeping me waiting for about two hours at collection time, later on i had to fix it myself, be just extracting Music.apk from VillainROM and replacing it with my own using root explorer. As for the second time, my phone has been in the Samsung service center for about 15 days now, and this morning i call them to check if my phone has been replaced/repaired, and the bitter, rude lady at the desk says, the it is pending for IMEI re-writing, after it's motherboard was replaced, and they had given me this crap about 6 days ago took, so i start shouting that i gotta leave for college tomorrow and i don't have my phone yet, what the hell am i gonna do, and she says, its not my problem.
After 15 fricking days of keeping me phoneless (thank god i was home, so i could get a stand-by from my dad), and they just tell me to wait five more days, and i gotta go back so i threaten to sue them in consumer court (Very effective threat in India
), and she says i could either get you a refund on your phone, or i could get your set replaced, both will take 30-45 working days, and i'm so pissed that i tell her i want a f$%#ing refund because even though the phone is really good, you people are a-holes (i really did say that).
So now, i'm moving on, i'll probably buy a HTC Wildfire S or SalSa or any other android i wanna buy, but no Samsung when i get my refund cheque (as much as i think that both phones are overrated, i'm really pissed, really, fricking pissed)
