Rattle sounds?

If I take my Droid Maxx out of the case, hold it vertically and tap on the back under the camera lens/speaker, I hear a rattling sound like something loose is inside. It happens with the case on also. I noticed this initially when I was just setting my phone down, I'd here a rattle. It is not the volume rocker or power button that is rattling. It sounds like it is coming from the camera/speaker area.

Anyone else?

Not here. Power off pullout the SIM and reseat it. Did it help?

Hey Thom, interesting point although I'd think I wouldn't be connecting to VZW if my SIM were so loose, but that is an idea. Trying now...

Nope, took the SIM out and left it out, still hear it near the camera/speaker area. If I gently squeeze the camera speaker area, it does seem to get muffled a bit. I use a case and I notice this just setting the thing down... an annoying rattle.

I should mention that I'm the type to pull over and investigate if I hear rattling in the back of my car someplace. BUT, there is a definite rattle coming from this phone as if the build quality is not up to par, yet the phone seems to be built really well... can't find the darn rattle!

I get it but it's the plastic lens cover rattling a bit it's "floating" in there not glued in.

Hmmm, I did put my finger on that too and still get a rattle.

It's not the outer cover, it the inner one.
