RAZR black screen issues?

Hi all,

did anybody noticed the black screen "stamps"/strains issue on the RAZR when working in the night or low ambient light  ?
I've changed a second here in Europe and still it has it?!
You can see it when you load a black image in the dark room or in the night. It looks like faulty monitors (if you had one) - the screen bad uniformity or clouding effects of the more blacks and back light bleeding. Can this be an issue / normal thing for the SuperAMOLED screens, or maybe this is due to the more hot area of the CPU's / motherboard, since it is to thin and has a insufficient heat dissipation?

Anyhow this is only noticeable when working in the night/dark rooms an not when there are any color on the screen, just black!

Thanks in advance!

Motorola has claimed this to be normal and as a side effect of the manufacturing process.
THX, Kelmar...
I must admit that this is quite odd, since I haven't seen this on many other phones with similar screen. I think that this shouldn't be on phone of a premium class?!
Do you also experience this or? This bothers me when I use AutoCAD images, that have a black background, and it's the low ambient light level / night scenario...

BR!

It is a side effect of the new process Samsung is using to make the Super AMOLED Advanced screen on the Razr and Super AMOLED HD on the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Nexus. Some believe it has to do with the higher resolutions but that hasn't been confirmed as far as I know. There is a larger thread about it over at XDA with pictures of the issue on all three of the above devices.

Yes, both of my Razrs have it (as well as the 2 Razrs and GNexus that I have access to on a regular basis). It's definitely noticeable.

It used to bother me, now I am used to it. It's worth noting that mine are only at the edges of the screen and not in the center though.
