razr issue

I recently received my razr maxx and screwed it up i rooted it and went crazy
erasing app,, now i have force close on contacts.... and ideas..
please help...this sucks

Restore the backup you made before you started messing with your apps? That would be what I would do.

Honestly, that is reason I have never rooted my HTC EVO. Heaven knows I hate the Bloatwear apps, such as the Blockbuster app, enough to want to root, but I know that I am not tech-savy enough to keep from screwing up my phone.

Ok, so I am not sure if this would help at all, I have read in a few thread that there are 'copies' of stock roms online. My suggestion is to find a site or friend with a copy of the Razor stock rom and reload it to your phone.

I am sure some of the more tech-savy gurus on this site would be more than happy to help you.

Read this... And may I suggest next time, that you read and understand what it is you are doing before you attempt to delete things that may be necessary for your phone to run.

I used this lutility in the ink to restore my Razr back to factory after a "root gone wrong" episode. Very easy and fast. You will lose root but you can use the same utility to re-root if you want. By far the easiest method in my opinion. Just download and run the utility, plug the phone in and hit option 1 and it does the rest for you. Good luck

And from what I have read it will work the same on the Maxx since they are the same internals
