RAZR MAXX Battery- ICS

/proc/cpuinfo is dynamic, so if he's doing nothing but catting a file, he's most likely going to be "given" one cpu. The beginning of that thread post is LOL.

BTW, that's not for the average user. Enabling more than you need at idle will chew through the battery.:D:D

I didnt follow his instructions other than changing my governor. And it has made a noticea improvement.

My battery life was crappy for the first few days (soak tester) and it started to improve but the thing that made the biggest difference was turning it off to charge once. After that, my battery life is back to normal, if not better. I went just over 30 hours and finally decided to plug it back in... I was at 30%.
ANd that is with 4g LTE on since I get very good 4G whare I live. I just followed another tip and turned off Global, so I'm going to see if that gives me even more improvement.

I do agree the .211 update has a little worse battery life (but with the MAXX, I don't care as it still easily makes it through a day). When i was running the .209 leak, I went 37 hours with over 6 hours of onscreen time, and finally plugged in with 30% battery left. That was with 4G and WiFi both on the whole time.

I just changed my governor to hotplug/noop, and will see if that improves the battery life, as others have reported. Even if it doesn't, I'm happy.

I've found that the Kernal is eating up my battery the most after updating to ICS. Is anyone else seeing this? I did a full factory reset after upgrading and all of my apps seem to be playing nice with the new OS.

Did the same doing the factory reset and battery and responsiveness is a lot better.

Highly recommend to do a factory reset for those having problem after installing ics
